Hub · flowback

Frac flowback and production-testing coordination.

Flowback is where test design and operations collide. We specify the package, compare bids, and keep the data honest while someone else owns the iron.

Independent

We design the test and pick who runs it. We do not sell separators or truck time.

Western Canada

Alberta focus; Calgary / Edmonton-area operators and consultants. Saskatchewan and BC welcome.

Clean data package

Results packaged for decisions — not a chart dump from the lease.

Production-testing companies sell separators. That is a legitimate business. It is a poor way to decide whether you need a high-rate three-phase package, a compact inline setup, a long clean-up, or a formal AOF. Those are program questions.

We write the flowback or production-test envelope — rates, H2S, sand, duration, measurement, flare/conserved gas, and the decision the data must support — then help you shortlist and compare vendors. Oversight is available when the well is sour, high-profile, or the last test was a mess.

Inline, AOF, and deliverability work sits here too. If the AER file or a plant nomination is the real customer, the program looks different from a frac clean-up. We keep those from being copied onto the same ticket.

  • Package sized to rate, H2S, sand, and duration — not a default spread
  • Vendor RFP and bid comparison without selling iron
  • Inline / AOF / deliverability scoped as their own tests
  • Independent supervisor when the well warrants it

Welltest Advisory provides independent program design, vendor matching, coordination, and data-package support. Licensed service companies perform field work, operate equipment, and hold the relevant tickets. AER-aware language on this site is planning guidance, not legal, regulatory, or engineering stamp advice.

FAQ

Why not just call the testing company?

Call them for iron. Call us when you need the program, a fair bid comparison, and a data package that is not written by the crew that wants more days on location.

Do you take a cut of the testing invoice?

Commercials are scoped per job — retainer and/or success fee to the advisory desk. We are not a disguised truck dispatch.

Can you cover multi-well pads?

Yes. Pad sequencing, shared packages, and staggered flowback are program-design problems we handle.

Company, location, well type, objective, timeline, and H2S — enough to start. We design the test; licensed companies run the iron.
