What your well-test vendor needs before mobilizing.

The point of the checklist

Vendors price and staff from a handful of facts. If those facts arrive as a thread of texts the night before, you get extras, the wrong iron, or a delay you will blame on the testing company.

Use this list whether you hire us or not. If you want us to turn it into an RFP and a shortlist, request a program review.

Send these items

• Well identity, surface location, and basin / field
• Well type and status (drilling, cased, completed, producing, injection)
• Objective: DFIT, DST, flowback, production / AOF, other
• Expected rates, pressures, temperatures, and fluids — even if they are ranges
• H2S: yes / no / unknown, and any measured values
• Timeline: need-by date, rig-on / frac-on constraints, daylight vs 24-hour
• Access, lease limits, flare / conservation constraints, water disposal path
• Who is the decision-maker on extras and stop-work

What good looks like

A two-page envelope plus a wellbore schematic beats a 40-page well file with no objective. Vendors can ask for directional surveys and metallurgy once they know the job.
