Before you believe the conclusion

• What was the written objective, and did the as-run program match it?
• Which gauges were used, where, and which ones drifted or dropped out?
• Which flow and shut-in periods are actually interpretable?
• Was the separator in carry-over, slugging, or off-chart rates?
• Did H2S, sand, or hydrate events truncate the test?
• Are samples tagged to periods you still trust?
• Is the interpretation a model or a field anecdote in fancy software?

If changing stage count, fluid, or well placement depends on this file, require a decision memo that states confidence and what would falsify the recommendation. No memo, no change.

If the file is junk

Say so early. A restudy cannot recover a falloff that was never recorded. The next-dollar decision is often a designed retest, not another slide deck.
